What is the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems and the UBC Farm? The UBC Farm encompasses 24 ha of integrated farm and forest lands on UBC’s South Campus. The Farm is managed by the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems, which offers a wide range of interdisciplinary learning, research, and community programs on the site. Together, these programs explore and models for sustainable food systems. The Farm is located at 3461 Ross Drive near Wesbrook Village. It is open to the public year round with seasonal hours and we run a Saturday market June through October.   Where is the Ponderosa Ballroom? The Ponderosa Ballroom is located at the corner of University Blvd and West Mall, at 6445 University Blvd, Vancouver. [view map]   Who can attend the Symposium? The Symposium is open to students, faculty, staff and community attendees. Anyone is welcome to join!   How much does it cost to attend the symposium? Registration is $6 for students and $12 for non students.   I have class on Thursdays – do I have to attend for the full day? Come for the whole day or part of the day – If you are attending for part, please be considerate of presenters, though, and only enter/exit presentations during breaks.
